Travelling around Norway's offshore centres last month, Solutions was told of the reasoning behind the names chosen for Bourbon Offshore Norway's series of new-building PSVs.All the vessels are apparently named after meteorological terms. The first two were chris-tened Monsoon and Mistral and the latest Front. Given the present economic climate, the owners might have been forgiven for considering calling the next vessels something like Depression, Low or Trough. However, they are clearly a more optimistic bunch and instead have settled on Clear, Calm and Rainbow.
