Marine equipment companies are providing plenty of options for davit design. For example, Navalimpianti Tecnimpianti's stored power telescopic version for lifeboats, tender boats and rescue boats is designed to leave the promenade deck and the emergency inboard areas completely free and is installed on Carnival P&O Azura, under construction by Fincantieri. The company claims it is the ideal solution when the deck is used as both a walking area for passengers and during embarkation.
