Furuno has established training facilities in India and the Philippines through co-operation with the Moloobhoy Training Centre in Mumbai, and the COMPASS Training Centre and Veritas Maritime Training Center, both in Manila, it was announced in late February. The training centres will provide Furuno type-specific ECDIS training courses under the brand of the company's NavSkills network of training centres. The instructors were trained on the same on-site syllabus.
