In a further commitment to year-round trade on Russia's Northern Sea Route, mining group MMC Norilsk Nickel has introduced a purpose-built Arctic tanker to serve both industry and communities in Siberia. Built to ARC7 ice class standard, the 18,500dwt Enisey encapsulates hull design and propulsion features employed in MMC's latest generation of Arctic containerised cargo carriers, including the double-acting principle.
