Since the 2006 launch of Bourbon Orca, numerous applications of Ulstein Design's revolutionary X-Bow have been unveiled. This unique hullform has been adopted for use on PSVs, anchor handlers, offshore construction ships and on seismic survey vessels and there are draft designs for container and general cargo ships. All of these have one thing in common-they are sea-going vessels designed to operate in some of the world's harshest marine environments.The F.DELTA. X, developed by Ulstein Sea of Solutions and Deltamarin, is the first time that the hullform has been applied to a stationary vessel.
