British owner Carisbrooke has taken delivery of the latest vessel in a series of gearless mini-bulkers from Chinese shipyard Jiangsu Yangzijiang. The 6,250dwt Kelly C is the seventh ship in a series of ten sister vessels, all ordered during 2008. The first ship of the series, Kristin C, was commissioned in January of this year. They have a length overall of 99.8m, a beam of 15.5m and a hull depth of 8.14m.
