Having sent Shockwaves through the marine exhibition-going community with news that its famous blue ladies will not be making their usual appearance at Nor-Shipping (see Solutions February 2009, p56), Orskov Yard has done the same to residents in its home town of Frederikshavn. According to reports on Danish television the whole town shook in the early hours of 21 January, with many believing that an earthquake had struck. In fact the cause of the tremors was the under-repair 90m CGG Ventura slipping off its keel chocks and settling on the bottom of the yard's floating dock.
