Shipping markets are known to be notoriously volatile, which most certainly has not changed since the outbreak of the global financial crisis. So from time to time, not everyone in the supply chain quite understands its role correctly, which generates its own challenges, panish shipping is best known for its household-name deepsea traders, but it also includes many shortsea vessel operators. One of these is Unifeeder, the Aarhus-based cabotage box ship operator whose business area covers waters from the Baltic to the Mediterranean seas. Its managers have fingers on the pulse of cargo flows in the company's trading region. "One of its 67 ships makes calls at a port every 45 minutes", said Ebbe Bisgaard, the company's Denmark manager.
