An increase in demand for offshore vessels over the next decade may not be enough to offset challenges faced by shipyards looking to take advantage of growth in the sector, a new report reveals. Delegates at a June meeting of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Council Working Party on Shipbuilding (WP6) agreed to declassify a report on shipbuilding and the offshore industry.
