London insurance broker RFIB Group has announced that Martin Pyrke will be deputy senior executive officer of its Middle East set-up, based in Dubai. He will report to Anthony Harris, senior executive officer for the Middle East region. Pyrke, who joined RFIB in 2009 to develop its Middle East business, brings nearly four decades of insurance experience to his new role. Prior to his appointment at RFIB, he spent six years developing reinsurance broker Benfield's Middle East account. In total he spent 25 years at broker Greig Fester (subsequently Benfield), where he held various senior roles, including managing director of Greig Fester in New Zealand.
