Nor-Shipping, hosted by the land of midnight sun and of eye-watering prices for everything from taxis to tacos, is over for another two years. The themes have been care for the global environment, encouragement for young Norwegians to get involved in maritime, and the key role of technology in shipping's future. As always, Norway's sincerity is clear. If there's one concern I have about Nor-Shipping, it's that there's not enough emphasis on the connections across the maritime cluster. Connections which, if made stronger, would see Norway sail past its competitors in the maritime sphere.
