China's newbuilding market continued a firming trend in the second half of June. The China Newbuilding Price Index reached 871 (up two points), but the three major ship types followed different trends. CNDPI (dry bulkers) and CNTPI (tankers) increased by two points to 860 and 918, respectively. However, CNCPI of container ships has remained flat at 864 points since mid-May.
