ASRY, the Gulf-based ship and rig repair yard, has appointed Nils Kristian Berge (pictured) as acting chief executive. He is currently ASRY's commercial general manager. He succeeds Chris Potter, who will be leaving the company next month. Berge has more than 25 years of international maritime experience and insight into the workings of ASRY. He said: "I intend to streamline the yard's efficiency, lead it to greater stakeholder value, and consolidate its reputation."
