Taiwanese carrier Evergreen Shipping Agency (America)'s chairman, Thomas Chen is to be transferred to an undisclosed position in Taiwan. Meanwhile, Jack Yen, who has worked as the company's vice-chairman, will take over his role. Chen held the position of EGA president from 2000-07, when he was promoted to chairman. He has spent a large part of his career with Evergreen, serving in the USA, Canada, and Taiwan. He joined the group in January 1974 and rose to the presidency of Evergreen International Corporation in 1995 before returning to the USA.
