Ambitious plans for a Singapore-Norway collaboration through dual listing of shipping companies looks like it has stalled, with Golden Ocean as the only one listed. Singapore Exchange has had a dual listing arrangement with the Oslo Bors since July 2009. The co-operation targeted shipping, offshore and energy companies first, as these sectors are key to both bourses. The tie-up was pitched as maritime companies' gateway to the best of both worlds and yet another step towards building Singapore as a maritime hub, while strengthening links to another shipping centre.
