Drydocks World (DDW), the Dubai-based ship repair group, is to present the terms for a restructure of its $2.2Bn syndicated loan on 8 March. This follows more than a year of talks, which had stalled, with creditors. Details of the proposal and the steps required to implement it, along with the associated timeline, will be announced to all the company's syndicated lenders. DDW is aiming for a completion date of July for all aspects of its restructuring, said Khamis Juma Buamim, chairman of DDW and Maritime World. The company is confident it will receive the support of a majority of its syndicated lenders.
