Roman Trotsenko, chief executive of Russia's state-owned United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC), has resigned suddenly. No reason was announced by the company, which has confirmed Trotsenko would leave by 1 July. First appointed by the Kremlin in 2009 to oversee consolidation of state stakes in shipyards across Russia and boost domestic newbuilding orders, Trotsenko was a millionaire developer of commercial property and airports and owner of the Moscow River Shipping Company.
