IHS Global Insight Is revising India's GDP growth forecasts for fiscal year (FY) 2012/13, down from 7.2% to 6.6%, and for FY 2013/14, down from 7.8% to 7.0%. The country is now expecting a much shallower recovery in investment demand. A weaker investment outlook and sticky inflation could trigger more back-ended and lesser monetary policy easing, and prevailing global uncertainties are further dampening the investment environment.
