The aftermath of Vietnamese shipbuilder Vinashin's default is chaos. "As far as I know Vinashin has already defaulted... there is no contractual restructuring and someone is suing," a Western source in Ho Chi Mmh City told Fairplay, before confirming much of what has appeared in Vietnam's official media in recent days. Dutch firm Elliot VIN has sued the firm in the UK but the content of the lawsuit was not clear last week.
