Each week this magazine offers an insight into the world of one of the major decision-makers influencing our industry. He or she might not come from shipping, but the investment choices they make and their response to the regulatory environment often reveal critical thinking about the next five years for the companies they run. Sadly, this element of the publication is not geared to acknowledging an entire stratum of the industry who are, in a sense, the real decision-makers: seafarers.
