Dry spot rates continued a downward slide last week, but so far there appears to be no loss of appetite from buyers of modern bulk carriers. Concerns still seem to be driven more by a lack of choice of ships on the market than the levels required to buy, and so far sellers' expectations for ships are generally being met.
