According to HIS CERA, the average demand for refined products in Europe in 2009 stood at 13.6M bpd (total products), down 5.6% from 14.4M bpd in 2007 - and European demand is unlikely to reach that level ever again.rnHowever, as Europe begins to emerge from the economic crisis, demand for refined products is likely to rebound. This is particularly true for the eastern and central parts of the continent, where the market has not yet reached maturity and where organic growth can still be expected.
