Sir, I have been a subscriber to your magazine for several years and have regularly appreciated the quality of its information. I was shocked however by the scandalous manipulation that Fairplay made of the statement of Captain Phillips to the US Senate: "Maersk Alabama captain Richard Phillips has publicly advocated arming ranking officers aboard vessels transiting piracy-prone waters".
