Not bad for a country of just 4.6M people.rnHowever, choppy waters have threatened this position of strength lately. The government's controversial decision to claim 10 years' worth of back tax from shipowners forced some companies abroad, registering ships in nearby UK and Denmark. BW Gas kept its management company in Oslo but shifted the holding company to Bermuda.
