Liberia has fallen short in its bid to extract the best possible deal on its register from the Virginia, US-based Liberian International Ship & Corporate Registry (LISCR).rnAlthough LISCR recently announced a 10-year extension of its contract with Monrovia, Fairplay has been told the government got less than Liberia's president Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf had wanted. She complained to Fairplay in 2007 that "we need a larger shared."
