Publicity-shy entrepreneurs are not a common find - and certainly it's a rare businessman that would be reluctant to allow their name to be put forward for Entrepreneur of the Year. But Dave Ronayne is not one to take his role as CEO of Mainport Holdings too seriously.rn"I've spent my life trying not to do any work," says 48-year-old Ronayne, only half-jokingly. "Studying and training to be an accountant were the easiest ways I could find to avoid it. My sole ambition in my early twenties was to travel round the world," says the entrepreneur, who joined accountants PricewaterhouseCoopers after studying commerce at Cork University.
