Kenya has embraced the concept of transport corridors to ensure much more efficient cargo flows from the country's main port of Mombasa into its hinterland in addition to neighbouring landlocked countries.rnAfter the 2008 Kenyan political upheaval left landlocked states severed for several weeks - which resulted in Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi looking increasingly southwards in the direction of Tanzania's port of Dar es Salaam - there's a real sense of urgency from Kenya Port Authority to get the corridor process under way.
