The captain and 68 master mariners last week enjoyed the sight of a line of buoys, all flashing in sequence (the buoys, not the master mariners).They were aboard the river cruiser Princess Pocahontas as guests of Trinity House, which maintains buoyage around the English and Welsh coasts and is exploring how it can make channels more visible against background lighting and other illuminations.
