Shipowners can no longer argue that environmental awareness is only for losers. No doubt given a boost by the rising cost of bunkers, major maritime players have raised their game on a wide range of green issues. Who cares about the environment? Three years ago, green issues were dismissed by almost everyone as water-cooler talk.
