Even after a career at sea and ashore with Nedlloyd, P&O Nedlloyd and Maersk, which was sometimes explosive, Andre Toet is still young enough at 43 to hop to another job. In between Maersk and his new position as Rotterdam port's chief operating officer, he took a five-week break. "I left Maersk on 24 August, after which I went to my favourite island, Terschelling, for a long holiday," he enthused.
