There is a TV gameshow in the UK in which celebrity contestants are shown a filmed tour of another celebrity's house and have to work out whose home it is by looking for clues in the tour and asking questions. The Captain is currently touting a maritime version of the format and plans to start the series onboard this astonishing delivery (above) from Germany's HDW's Kiel shipyard, called simply A. At 118m long, A is said to be the third longest private yacht in the world - excluding state-owned and charter vessels. So who would own a yacht like this? Built at a yard well known for its naval output, its design has been compared with a US Navy Zumwalt class destroyer or a submarine. It is also said to have the obligatory helicopter and unspecified defensive weapons. And that deck shape? With nothing to catch hold of with a grappling hook it would be a difficult vessel to hijack.
