Cosco Corp, the Singapore-based company that runs shipyards in China, has moved to head off investor pressure by extending the tenure of vice-chairman and president Ji Hai Sheng.The company has informed the Singapore Exchange that Ji would continue to be a part of China's giant shipping group at its Beijing headquarters.rnCosco has persisted with its dry bulk shipping business on the back of soaring rates, although Ji has made no secret of the fact that shipping operations will be phased out.
