T&T Bisso Response is emerging as a new player in the international salvage market, but to call the venture 'new' is somewhat disingenuous given that the two co-owners have a combined 170 years of experience in the industry. The joint venture between Bisso Marine and T&T Marine Salvage was launched three years ago and its first major success clearly put the company on the world stage - the righting of BP's massive Thunder Horse production platform. Listing and perilously close to capsizing after Hurricane Dennis swept through the Gulf of Mexico in July 2005, T&T Bisso responded and righted the platform, even as a second hurricane, Emily, was bearing down on the area.
