Angelicoussis strikes again. The owner is reported to have bought for $75M the VLCC Eagle, which was originally built for Mobil Oil and delivered in 1993, when double hulls became mandatory. The ship cost $123.6M when contracted. This contrasts with the $85M that its sister ship Raven cost three years later.
