Navigating in the busy waterways of the world was never easy, as the case of the Tricolor again demonstrates (see p7). Unusually for an incident involving three vessels, the blame for the accident was placed solely and squarely on just one of them by the judge in New York last week. Another was criticised for its operations, though this did not contribute to the accident.
