Few would say that they have not had a single boring day in a month. But Per Holmvang, MD at DNV Petroleum Services in Singapore tells Fairplay: "After 20 years I have never had one boring day." He adds with modest pride: "I think I have been privileged." Still, it is easy to understand why the former chemical analyst's days have been full: his voice still quivers with excitement when he speaks about smelling components of substances as they come out of his testing chromatograph.
