Potential buyers and sellers of second-hand tankers are continuing to sit on their hands and wallets, so only a couple of reefer ship sales caught the eye this week. Could it be that tonnage 25 and 26 years old can still be traded for continued operation rather than become scrap? Apparently yes. Three ships of that vintage were sold en bloc last week by Chartworld Shipping of Greece, and two similar ships were sold by Target Marine.
