摘要

The Asian crew member had been taken off a South Florida cruise vessel in the US because he had injured himself and was at the airport awaiting his flight home when he telephoned the International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF) cruise campaign office in Port Canaveral. He told the ITF's Tony Sasso and Jim Given that a shoreside medical examination had found nothing wrong, but management told him he had to leave the ship anyway and fly home. "I've still got six months to go on my contract," the crew member said. "Can they do that?"
