Mexico will invest over Pesos2.6Bn ($287M) to improve port infrastructure this year. According to Mexico's port and merchant marine director Francisco J Avila Camberos, Pesos1.36M will come from the private sector and Pesos1.36M will be provided by the public sector. Priority will be given to modernise Pacific coast ports such as Salina Cruz.
