With few banks specialising in ship finance in the Middle East, there is no distinct financing centre in the region, although both Bahrain and Dubai are host to a few banks that originate transactions in the area. In Bahrain, ANZ Investment Bank (ANZIB) claims to be the only bank in the Middle East with a "dedicated capability" in ship finance, "albeit aimed at the structured industrial end of the market."
