One of the features I comment on as I address Branches and in other writings is the manner in which the Institution has been surging forward over the last few years; the way that services are being developed for members, the administration and support base improved and a better, more responsive organisation created. The thrust of my comments is usually to encourage members to be more pro-active in generating changes and also to underwrite that we are moving forward positively in both the quality and quantity of our involvement. More simply, it is an invitation for individual members to be more directly involved in influencing the direction of the change that is taking place and that principle remains available, so please have your say, either through your Regional Representative or by writing directly to the General Secretary.
