City landlords have been putting profit ahead of tenant safety, according to Coventry Citizens Advice Bureau. In the last year, volunteers and staff at Coventry Citizens Advice Bureau have dealt with 365 problems associated with the city's private landlords. This is an increase of more than a third on the previous year. Problems include fire safety lapses, damp, lack of appropriate heating and concerns about gas safety.
