平成19年7月16日10時13分頃に新潟県上中越沖（北緯37rn度33.4分，東経138度36.5分，深さ約17km）を震源として発生rnしたマダニチエード6.8の地震に伴い，新潟県柏崎市の東京電rn力株式会社柏崎刈羽原子力発電所内の3号機タービン建屋所rn内変圧器3Bにおいて鎮火までに約1時間50分を要する火災がrn発生した．%The Niigata Chuetsu Oki Earthquake (M6.8) occurred on July 16, 2007.
