More than 100 companies will be represented at the eighth annual Converters Expo April 15-16 in Green Bay, Wis. This event, produced by Packaging Strategies, showcases converting machinery and suppliers during a day-long expo at the historic Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers. In addition, the $45 registration includes a welcome reception the evening before, as well as breakfast and lunch the day of the show. Some long-time exhibitors are returning again this year. One is Bob Saari, vice president of business development for Contract Converting LLC, an Appleton, Wis., maker of slitting and rewinding equipment. "We've been every year. It's a good one for us," Saari says. In addition to returning, Saari served on the board of Converting Influence, which formerly owned the show. Packaging Strategies and BNP Media bought it in 2013.
