In-ear headsets haven't caught on to any large degree with pilots of light airplanes, and while I'm not sure that will change any time soon, there are at least a couple of in-ear headsets on the market that offer great comfort, incredibly light weight and excellent noise attenuation. Since they showed up on the market a short while back, I've been curious to see just how they stack up against conventional over-ear padded headsets, like well-known ones from David Clark, Telex, Sennheiser and Bose.
