The complexities of ramping up production after a new product introduction do not appear to faze Robinson Helicopters. The company has delivered the 500th R66 Turbine only 3 1/2 years after it achieved FAA certification for the helicopter in October 2010. The milestone R66 traveled from the Robinson factory in Torrance, California, to one of its dealers in Moscow called Aviamarket, which will have it on display at the HeliRussia exhibition in Moscow, May 22 to 24.
