Development of Diamond Aircraft's five-seat, single-engine D-Jet VLJ is back in full swing after a Middle Eastern financial firm threw a lifeline to the cash-starved maker of the DA20, DA40 and DA42 piston airplanes. Medrar Financial Group based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, snapped up a majority stake in Diamond, making it clear that the D-Jet program is very much alive and well.
