Recognizing that avgas can be a hard commodity to find in many parts of the world, GippsAero is also working on a 10-seat Rolls-Royce RR-250 (450 shp) turboprop-powered version, the GA10. In order to keep development and production costs in check, GippsAero plans to keep as much commonality as possible with the GA8; the GA10 will accommodate two more passengers. The idea is to offer a product that's a step up from the GA8 while not treading on the Caravan's turf.
