There are lots of reasons why it's great to keep your airplane in a hangar attached to your house. One of the minor ones is packing. Consider that for every trip, you really have to pack and unpack twice; once in your car for the drive to the airport. Then again at the airplane. Then it's vice versa on the way home. And there's that one key item that you realize, just that you forgot as you pull up at the airport. Maybe your set of favorite fishing lures on the workbench, or your golf shoes left in the mudroom. Should you drive back and get it? Or just do without?
