25 YEARS AGO Russell Munson photographed a Cessna T210E and a Mooney 252 for our cover story. A face-off between the Cessna T210R and Mooney 252 determined which was the fastest piston single. Richard Collins wrote that "the Mooney pulls ahead in speed and climb performance."
